What's on my squash?!

What's on my squash?!

I've seen these on a few leaves of my squash (I believe spaghetti squash - I cant remember which is which now!  haha).  I've scraped them off when I see them and squeezed them.  They kind of pop when I squeeze them.  The plant looks otherwise healthy.  Lots of flowers coming out (other than the ones some animals bite off!), the stems look sturdy and healthy and no sign of other disease.

Is this a pest?  something harmful?  What can I do to get rid of it?

Hi,
Don't know what it is but I'm bold enough to share my terrible theory: There will never be a shortage of garden bugs, therefore if I don't know what it is, eliminate!  
 What a Face 
p.s. I still wonder what the little crab thing was sitting on my asparagus frond, no surprise I removed it pronto.
 
Seriously though, hope someone comes along with a good answer.
