another round of salsa

Here's a pic of veggies on the smoker (onions, red peppers, green peppers, poblano peppers) ...getting ready for the salsa pot...did a batch to freeze this morning along with a batch of quick pickles...all before heading out to the Iowa State Fair.

I smoked with pecan wood chips this time...imparts a really interesting smoky flavor to the salsa.  I did hickory last batch.  Apple may the next try.
