Help with problems!

Post  grownsunshine on 8/11/2013, 11:45 am

My candaloupe plant has black egg like things on the back of the leaves and the front has a tar like substance on some of the leaves. The strawberry plant has brown spots. Anyone know what these problems are?

 Black things on leaves. eggs?

Black tar like substance on same plant.

Also are my strawberry leaves getting burnt? I added some compost a two weeks ago.

The strawberry leaf spots just look like water damage, it doesn't look like a disease at this point, but it it bothers you remove the leaf, the plant will make more.

With the canteloup foliage, I am not sure what it all is, but I suggest removing the affected leaves. The plant will make more.
