Rain, Rain, Rain

Post  yolos on 8/17/2013, 3:08 pm

Rain, rain go away and come back next summer.

Boy have we gotten rain this year.  Our resevoir near my house is at a higher level than I have ever seen it.  I have not seen the sun in 3 days.  We recorded the lowest high temps for that day ever recorded last week ( I think the high temp was 71 degrees).  Today the high is supposed to be 73 degrees.  I want to go outside and play in the garden.  Yesterday I had to wear a rain coat to harvest my beans.  Today I put on a pair of jeans and a flannel shirt to go out to the garden but was run out after 5 minutes because more rain came in.

Oh wow, send some of that my way, lol!  We got some clouds and a few sprinklers and that was it.  I do hope you get some warmer sunny weather very very soon!

The west can certainly use some of this. We're going into a new rainy cycle in Maryland. <*sheesh*> Well, I can get back to the inside projects that need tending and pray that the rain stops in time for me to knock back the powdery mildew.
