Demonstration Garden

Post  donnainzone5 on 8/20/2013, 7:32 pm

Earlier this afternoon, I was greeted by a friend of one of my next-door neighbors.

He introduced himself and indicated he's interested in SFG and threatened to show up on my doorstep.  I encouraged him to do so.

Apparently, my "demonstration" front-yard garden is having its effect.

That's exciting. What a Face Are you thinking about doing some teaching sessions?

How nice that the success of your effort spoke for itself! You can't argue with success!

Re: Demonstration Garden

Post  donnainzone5 on 8/20/2013, 9:21 pm

I'm currently having my front yard leveled and new sod installed.  The owner of the company doing the work thought my beds went much deeper.  I corrected this misimpression.  For anyone who doubts that corn can be grown in 6" of Mel's Mix, my garden proves the contrary.  The darned stuff is trying to reach 7'!

Perhaps I'll receive even more referrals!  And yes, Camp, I just may be doing some teaching sessions.

Too bad I can no longer post photos.  Over the last couple of weeks, it just doesn't seem to work.
