Excel calculator for volumes of vermiculite/peatmoss/compost

Post  PabloElFlamenco on 9/3/2013, 9:36 am

Hi, I've made an excel calculator for easy calculating
(a) required volumes of each of the 3 ingredients for that magic mix of vermiculite, peat moss and compost
(b) and procurement of the correct number of packages to get to that required volume
It's in metric format, but there's a built-in aid for changing centimeters into inches and vice-versa.

My question:  how do I post an excel sheet?  Maybe that's been covered before, but I haven't time to go through the entire forum!

Meanwhile, greetings from Breda, the Netherlands.

Thanks for doing that Pablo, but there already is one, you may find it following Rooster's link.

We really do have a lot of information here on the SFG Forum. Please explore the front page of the forum and any sub forum, all of which have valuable stickie notes and some tools.

Thanks Camprn...but, but...it's in darn feet and inches...I'll keep using my own, which is metric, soooh much easier to work with (ask me how I know:  I work in shipping, in olden days the LOA -length over all- of a typical ship would be something like 598ft 3-7/8 inches hoohoooooh...;-)  and I don't own any ...yardstick, "English" measuring tape.

RoOsTeR...lovely Loveland pass (been there!) and we drove up Pike's Peak (in 1963) in our 1957 Mercury Monterey...and busted! (burst radiator conduit).

So...if any one wishes a metric calculator...ask (I can also PM it).
