Put the last of the ripened tomatoes in tonights chicken soup. there is a bunch of green toms to put in the basement.  Also need to mulch the strawberries and clean out the rest of the boxes, garlic needs mulched and a dozen or so have sprouted up already 6 inches or more.  Need to read up on what to do and when for the asparagus box since all I remember is mulching and cutting at some point.

Have a citrus based marmalade to make, all the ingredients are sitting and staring me down over there on the kitchen counter.  Trying to talk myself into doing it tonight and be done with it. Discipline, discipline!

Nesco FD-80 came in today, just washed all trays, picked up 2 extra.
Hard some heavy winds today, all pears came down and I wont use pears unless they are hand picked from the tree.
Guess I'll just go and make some jerky....
Looks like a nice unit and reviews on Amazon are good..

You are right Tricia.  Did the citrus marmalade the next morning.  It's a beautiful color but maybe the grapefruit portion of the rind was too thick and made too much pectin.  Cause the consistency is more like gumdrops..  suppose it will melt ok on toast and pancakes, etc.
