Time to unhook the hoses

After the foot of snow we got last week and 60 mph winds we got late last week and yesterday, we are forecast to get another 6-12 inches and a minus 3 degrees for the next three days. Maybe its time to unhook the hoses and stop watering the raspberries and garlic.

And here I am worrying about sprinkles and 28* nights! Embarassed   You hardy folks put us Zones 8-9 to shame.

Our hardy brothers and sisters would have gotten a good belly laugh looking at me working in my garden to get ready for our frost.  

I just showered so I had wet hair.  Covered that with a beanie, wrapped a neck scarf around my hair/neck, no jacket just long sleeve shirt and….
sandals.  To go out into the rain… 

Hubby thinks I have absolutely no common sense when it comes to weather - where could he have possibly gotten that idea from?!Razz Laughing

What a confession!  Me too!!     Drawers and shelves of jammies, work jammies, after shower jammies, but no dress jammies.  Hummmm  I'm retired. so it's out of bed, cup of coffee and out to back yard.
