Time to unhook the hoses

Post  johnp on 12/3/2013, 9:01 am

After the foot of snow we got last week and 60 mph winds we got late last week and yesterday, we are forecast to get another 6-12 inches and a minus 3 degrees for the next three days. Maybe its time to unhook the hoses and stop watering the raspberries and garlic.

Our hardy brothers and sisters would have gotten a good belly laugh looking at me working in my garden to get ready for our frost.

I just showered so I had wet hair.  Covered that with a beanie, wrapped a neck scarf around my hair/neck, no jacket just long sleeve shirt and….
sandals.  To go out into the rain…

Hubby thinks I have absolutely no common sense when it comes to weather - where could he have possibly gotten that idea from?!Razz Laughing

Shhhhh… don't tell anyone, but since I'm an artist by profession - I pretty much LIVE in my jammies.  I have "work" jammies, "gardening jammies" and even "dress jammies!"

What a confession!  Me too!!     Drawers and shelves of jammies, work jammies, after shower jammies, but no dress jammies.  Hummmm  I'm retired. so it's out of bed, cup of coffee and out to back yard.
