Hi from NW Florida (Panhandle)

Post  RickRS on 12/15/2013, 10:53 am

Just joining in;  I've gardened off and on for years here in the NW Florida area (zone 8b).  Joined a community garden recently for the company of other gardeners and for the challenge of organic and square foot gardening, which I haven't done before.

Rick, Welcome to the group. Am new to forum myself. Have just been in ice for past week and half, so nothing but planning here.

After getting 12 inches of new snow, its nice to hear from a newbie in Florida. What's growing in your area of the country?
Welcome to the group. You'll find great info here for growing your own tasty veggies.
