LOL Wrestled With A Pop-up Greenhouse

Post  sfg4uKim on 12/22/2013, 3:45 pm

Today the weather was nice enough the I was able to wrestle with this pop-up greenhouse. It's inside the "graveyard" where I'm going to experiment with a Back to Eden Garden (there's a thread on the Forum if you're curious about that).

I need to start some seeds for my booth at the Maryland Home & Garden Show which is in early March and my hoop house blew down last night - better new than when things were growing.

In case you're wondering, I had to fence in the area because my dog Sophie kept eating my compost. Then I had to use the panels because she was still putting her nose in between the bars and munching away.
  affraid(Sophie! Bad Girl!)

That's hilarious, LOL!  I haven't heard of a dog doing that  Shocked  Laughing

What a cute little greenhouse, so glad you were able to get it up and not lose your starts.
Merry Christmas,

My compost guy said he gets quite a few complaints about dogs eating his compost. It must be quite yummy!

Goose, my whole LIFE would make a great I LOVE LUCY episode! I am my own source of amusement!

Just one example: I was having some exhaust issues on my car but delaying the repair until after the holidays. One night I was working late (and wearing a dress). When I went over a speed bump I heard SCRAPE! CLANG! I stopped the car and there on the ground was an exhaust system. SOOOOO I picked it up and threw it into the back of the car.

The next morning I dropped off the car with my mechanic and walked the mile to work. Soon the phone rang and my mechanic said, "Mrs. Roman what do you want us to do?" I'm thinking, "Well DUH! What do you THINK I want you to do?" I gently said, "Well I was hoping you'd put the exhaust system back on the car." He said, "And what would you like us to do with the one that's already there?"

Yep! it was someone else's exhaust on the ground! I know what you're thinking cuz so did hubby:
"Didn't you look under the car?"
"Uh, in the cold and dark while wearing a dress after a LONG workday? Nope!"
"Wasn't it hot?"
"No, I'd just started the car and I was wearing gloves."

yahoo yahoo

In another life, I worked in automotive service, but I never saw that!

I did have one commercial customer come in because she couldn't get the radio to turn off, and it was driving her crazy.  Turns out, a co-worker hid a transistor radio in her vehicle as a joke!

rofl rofl rofl rofl That sounds like something that would happen to me. The standing joke with all of my friends about the probability of getting stuck and having to push the vehicle is to check my footwear...in almost 50 years of life, I have never had to push the vehicle I am riding in or driving unless I am wearing heels.....typically, the higher the heel, the harder terrain to push in...
