SFG to date in Dixie

Post  Ole Joe Clark on 4/27/2010, 10:12 am

Attached are photos of our efforts to date with SFG. Tomatoes are growing, beans are coming up.

The bottles, 2 liter soft drink bottles with the bottom cut off, are covering some tiny hot pepper plants that I got tired of fooling with in the house. They protect the plants from wind and help keep them from drying out. I put them over tomato plants when I first put them out. Most of the time they don't wilt at all.
