I gotta get me some pig poo.  If you ever decide to dry it out to powder form and sell it thru the mail, let me know!  I'll be first in line. (poor mail person)  Laughing

SG,
Do you bend the top of the inside leaves over the curd to keep it white instead of letting it turn yellow ?

Looking at the picture and clicking it to enlarge it on the stem of the leaf that runs from curd to between 1 & 2 o'clock there appear to be a caterpillars " visiting card " if so you'll need to be extra vigilant in getting the plants clear for they love cauli and can strip a heck of a lot of plants almost overnight .
My cauli's got trashed by them on one of the few weekends we were away last year  Sad

Yes, I had the leaves bent over when I saw this a few days ago, and when I opened them up, this is what I found! And yes! you are very observant, but what you are seeing are the remnants of a caterpillar lol!! That is a squished caterpillar that was trying to get my cauliflower!! lol

Hi Rose,. If you look under the topic "moved our beds" you will see some covers we made it out of hardware cloth. We have had really good luck with those. You might want to give those a try to help keep the critters out so your plants can have a fighting chance. Good luck!!
