Mrs. Saigon…lost in Texas

Post  Mrs. Saigon on 2/9/2014, 10:37 am

Hello everyone!

I started farming around June 2012 as a newbie, and the one thing I learned so far is that the more I grow, the more I realize how much I don't know. I found this forum while searching online about vermiculite last night. Instantly, I felt at HOME. This forum is an amazing source of information, and I can see myself spending the next weeks soaking in everyone else's experience and expertise.

Thank you all in advance.

Sunny greetings from Texas

Welcome!

If you get curious about growing "Asian greens," I'd love to hear about your experiences. My brother is Vietnamese, adopted from when Saigon fell and he came to America, and he used to take me to Vietnamese restaurants all the time after we grew up and moved to Orange County, California, which has a large Vietnamese "Bolsa" district. I liked lots of the veggies we would eat there, but his boyhood was spent in a fishing village and he didn't know what the greens were when I asked him.
