I have my box!!!

Post  ehaffner1 on 2/14/2014, 9:20 pm

Update from SoCal - the weather is close to 90 degrees and I'm thinking I want to plant my winter veggies here pretty soon.

I got my box yesterday in the mail - hope to find time to put it together this weekend.  Just waiting for my soil.  I have plenty of seeds, but my impulsive side made me buy some starts from the Arboretum.  I just want my box to look perfect, like it shows on the website.

I can't wait until I can put it together and unveil it to all my friends and family.  2014-02-14

Winter or Summer Crops

Post  ehaffner1 on 2/14/2014, 9:43 pm

Thank you for the reply and Happy Valentine's Day!

I know, I am kind of feeling stupid.  I do not know what the weather is going to do (I know, no one really does, I always joked that I should have been a weather person - the only job where you can make mistake after mistake and not get fired).

I will have to ask for help from this form and the Master Gardener's for my area.

not sure if you are in southern or northern CA, but there are threads that are directed to your area of growing and I would go there and see if there are posts on what everyone is planting and growing and if you don't find what you are looking for then start a new thread and Im sure those folks will be happy to help! Im in WA so I cant help much as we are having cool wet, wet, wet weather right now  Very Happy

here is a link to the Southern CA threads, but if that's not your area...go to the main page of the SFG forum and scroll down until  you find your Region  Very Happy
