Hello from DFW

Post  johnsonjk on 3/31/2014, 11:14 am

I'm trying to find the vermiculite database.  I see lots of references to it in threads but no one mentions how to see it.  I saw someone say something about the home page but nothing shows up for me there either.

Can someone point me in the right direction or provide a link to it please?

Thanks,

Jean

Hi Jean,
I purchased a big bag of vermiculite from Cornelius nursery here in Houston. Cornelius is the same thing as Calloway's in the Dallas area. It looks like they have a lot more locations than they do in Houston. On their website I see Arlington, Denton, Dallas, Duncanville, Fort Worth, Flower Mound and several other locations. So hopefully there is one close enough to you. I'm sure they either carry it or could easily get it for you since they carry it in Houston.

Good Luck

Hi Jean,

Marshall's Feed and Grain on the service road to 121 in Grapevine has large bags of course vermiculite as well as most of the other ingredients you need for SFG.

Good gardening,
Gloria
