Something like that could be done with layered spreadsheets in MS Excel. Have the cell values for the first page transferred to subsequent pages in a new position every year. On the second year, you flip to the second page, etc.

For example make the value of cell A1 "Tomatoes." Then pull that down from the first page into the second page so that now it is A2= Tomatoes, and then in the third sheet so that A3= Tomatoes, 4th page so that A4 = Tomatoes, etc. Just flip through to the next page every year. After four years, start back again at page 1.

That could either be done manually with a heck of a lot of typing or by making the cells in each subsequent page reach back to previous pages for their values, irrespective of what the values are.

I actually have an Excel spreadsheet with info on everything I'm planting.  But not quite like that.  Sounds like I need to play some more...  I think that's a great idea.

BTW - I love your tagline...  Ain't it the truth?

Gwennifer - thanks!  me too.

Thanks Marc.  Thought about that on the way to HD.  We DID pick up a few more tomatoes, but they won't replace all we lost.  So I think I'm okay.  Plus I'll have those new beds next year...!

Thank you, AM!  I knew a gal from the South would understand.   Very Happy
