Hello from Brecksville Ohio

Post  mdavis065 on 4/25/2014, 5:07 pm

Giving the SFG a go this season.   Just started gardening 3 years ago.  Started with just an 8x8 raised bed for strawberries.   Added 3 12x12 raised beds 2 years ago.  Looking to add 4 or 5 4x4 beds using the SFG guide this year.

Need to do a little more reading on companion planting.

Looking forward to a good year.

Hi mdavis065!  glad you\'re here

I'm sure you'll find that 4 by 4 beds are much more manageable than 12 by 12. I'm curious, how do you plant in a 12 by 12 bed? Do you have to walk in it?

Yeah, have to walk in it.  Used the ole row method of planting.  Going to convert them into a modified square style this season.
