Help with White Bug Investation

Post  grownsunshine on 5/10/2014, 11:01 am

Happy Saturday. Hope your getting extra time in your gardens today. I'm getting these white bugs on my kale. Anyone know what the are and how to get rid of them?

aphids! yeck. We get them bad here. A blast of water will knock 'em off, but in my experience they come back. Neem oil has been working pretty good for us! Good luck. They love pretty much all cabbage family stuff Sad

Aphids. A simple soap spray is veryeffectiveat knocking the aphid load. Check the pest forum stickies for places to get more info.

Makes sense since I got rid of all the ants in that area with diatomaceous earth. Now aphids! I was able to knock them off with my sprayer. I'll get some neem oil. I figure I may need it for other infestations in the future anyway.  thanks  for the help!!

Happy Mother's Day tomorrow!!! sunny
