Pappy Down

Post  Pappy Slip on 5/26/2014, 2:56 pm

Well boys and girls I over did it today while working in the landscaping. Passed out cold! Big ole cut across the bridge of my nose. Note to self.....if your not feeling well stay in the house with the honey. Now my honey has me confined to the house for a  day or so. I hate leaving a job unfinished.

Them thar's wise words, Pappy. If you don't mind I'll pass them along to my 81 yr old mother who took a spill a few days ago, now has a concussion and had to postpone this weeks flight home to the Cape from FL.

Healing thoughts heading your way.

Rest up Pappy and feel better soon!
Today it was hot up here in central ohio and probably warmer where you are.  Drank over 1/2 gallon of fluids by noon.  And Naproxen by 3:30pm for the aching joints.

Hope you feel better soon, Pappy. It's only the ornery and outright mean ones that are invulnerable, and you don't sound ornery or mean enough that you don't have to be careful. Heat and dehydration can sneak up on a person pretty fast sometimes. I'm glad your honey is there looking out for you!

Good sound advice Marc. My sugar bottomed out and my blood pressure followed. I'm a lucky ole fart, my honey was a nurse for better than 35 years. I keep her busy with all kinds of repairs...hehe.

Thanks everyone for your concerns. My Honey has released me providing I only go out in the late evening.  Rolling Eyes
I also have to go through a regiment of blood sugar, blood pressure and pulse test before I go out. Holy Crap! I'll never get anything done now......

You're right llama momma. My honey takes good care of me and I so happy she is watching out for me. I wouldn't be here today if not for her.

Glad you're feeling better and stronger, Pappy.  I'm a little past my Biblical expiration date and feel it every time I try to do something that 10 years ago was a snap.

Listen to your honey and don't over do.  You have much to teach and we have much to learn!

All the best.
