Here's a little poll for my fellow SFG'ers.
Sorry, if your favorite isn't on the list. I was only allowed to enter 10 items and entered the first 10 I thought of so this is hardly scientific research. Very Happy

You can only select 1 from the list so make sure you really, REALLY love it! Laughing

This is NOT a fair survey! We should be able to pick three favourites -- tomatoes, squash, and beans. That's really all anyone needs.

mine was a no-brainer - I love so many of them, but if I ever had to pick just one, it would be tomatoes! (oops - were results supposed to be kept confidential?)

I love strawberries, so there is no way I have enough room to keep me in strawberries all year.

I LOVE fresh peas straight out of the garden. They rarely make it into a pan. I just eat them standing right there beside the vine, or sometimes I'll actually wash the snap peas and snow peas and put them in a salad. I will be doing even more peas this fall and in future years. And did I mention that I HATE canned peas and frozen peas are a little borderline for me. They just don't have that sweet pop that you get from fresh peas.

And there really should be "melons" on that list. I've been getting into the mini-melons that are just 1-2 servings. Mmmm, mmmm, good. I grew Charentais and Sugar Baby last year and I have 8 different kinds of melon this year (I think I went a little overboard ).

Charentais taste like an extra sweet cantelope, but they are only 2-3 pounds. Just right to split with my hubby. The other varieties I got are all minis of assorted types. I'll let you know what's good once I get some!
