Forumotion's servers are re-set periodically. That's usually the reason for getting unexpectedly logged out.

It seems to happen when I switch computers, too.

The "cookies" that store your preferences on a website (including whether you are logged in or not) are stored in your browser on your computer. So if you change to a computer where you were not previously logged-in to a website, you will not be logged in when you visit there. This is also the case if you switch browsers on the same computer, because that information is stored by your browser.

It happens to everyone. Just log in again. At least you know you're in good company. Wink

One good thing about being logged out every month is that I remember my password.

It's not a problem if you use the anti virus systems pass code safe to store your pass words . It comes up automatically on mine all I ned to do is read what it says just in case something nasty has happened , then t click the log in box.

I like the idea that the host for the site does theii house cleaning at the end of each month .
It helps keep the site clean & free of hidden crap & up to speed .
