Half off flowers at Lowes, Fayetteville, GA

Post  Windmere on 9/4/2014, 11:31 am

Just a quick heads up that Lowes in Fayetteville, GA is having a half off sale on flowers that "have bloomed."  I am wondering if Lowe's located in other areas might be doing something similar.

By "bloomed," they simply mean plants that have opened flowers or are even on the verge of having opened flowers.  I picked up some chrysanthemums and snapdragons for around 70 cents each.  The mums are the best buy... they are in season and they will grow beautifully!

Thanks for the heads up for folks in your region.  Today, we looked for winter flowers at a family nursery for the front yard and found we are 3-4 weeks too early.  Patience is hard. But fruit trees are 50%.
