Table top getting extra weeks of sun

Post  sanderson on 10/20/2014, 2:44 pm

This is a photo of the 2 x 3 "cabbage" bed that was converted to a table top this fall.  It is now getting extra weeks of sunshine as the sun moves to the south of the southern fence.  It should also heat up sooner in the spring.  You can see how dark the ground is where the box sat on the ground and how sunny the bed is now that it is raised.  The work to raise all my beds was worth it, one way or the other.
