Don't forget to uncover on warm/sunny winter days

Post  sfg4uKim on 11/21/2014, 8:48 pm

I'm pretty good about remembering to COVER my plants when we have a cold spell, but not always good about UNCOVERING them if we get a warm and/or sunny day.

It's really cold here in Maryland today but we're expecting a warmup Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. THANKFULLY that was the topic of conversation at the restaurant I went to this evening, "Brrrr, it's cold." (Today's HIGH was 37 and it's 27 right now.) "Yep, but just wait until Sunday, it's supposed to get back up to 68." "Wait! What?"

Has anyone else FRIED their plants in the winter because they forgot to VENT their greenhouse or UNCOVER their beds on warm or even sunny days?

I also tend to forget that plants need WATER when they're covered.
