I'm getting hooked on his videos.  Well done, short and to the point.  He uses SFG spacing by Mel Bartholomew! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bc4ecvD_rMM&index=40&list=UUv9ITE5nuShQ37Xd-NVkdcg

John ___? of Growing Your Greens has poorly made videos. Wind sounds, fading in and out. Some home videos make me sea sick!

The slug war videos are fascinating! I can't wait for spring! (assuming my plans to recreate a garden work out.)

But this is the time of year when all New England gardens are perfect! Next year's gardens won't have bugs, or diseases, or crop failures of any kind, and most of us don't (yet) have to pare down our shopping lists to reasonable size!

they used to be short and informative. but now they a full length 1 hr or more movie. I stop looking at them. you can still glean info, but you have to be very patience.

The "Growing Your Greens" guy (who since changed his channel's name)? Couldn't agree more. So many problems:

1. Too long for the info presented. Often it's pretty slight. But OMG the vids can be long.
2. Sometimes there's no info. I've watched a couple of his "letters to me" vids where he answers letters, and in one of them he went on and on and STILL HAD NO ANSWER! Okay, if you don't know it, just admit it and move on or smarter yet by far, only pick the questions you have an answer to so you don't waste everybody's time. What on earth???
3. Lots of opinions. Sometimes he recommends a crop over another just because he likes it, which makes little sense. Everybody likes something, right?
4. Some kinda creepy stuff in which he refers to the size of his unit and "fun girls" as a pun when talking about "fungi." "Fun guy" ... get it ... GET IT?!?!?!?!?!?!? Ugh.
5. A borderline creepy way of bringing in his sponsors which I can't quite figure out to the very last degree of culpability but don't feel comfortable with. He gets into nonsense about juicing while revealing he makes his money with a juicing site, and instead of bolstering his credibility about pretty bogus science, or maybe it's better described as "science-y stuff," by doing so, he just undermines it.
6. Plenty, but I don't want to just bicker. (Is it too late?) Some of his vids are okay, and some are pretty good, but all are way too long and make an art of not getting to the point if by art you mean waste of time.

Marc, I think he is really a juice guy who grows his own greens, not a gardener who juices. His camera person needs some good training.
