Yike, that's nasty. And kids get deyhdrated so easily, so that's kinda scary. Good luck to anyone whose kids have that. And if it's a virus, don't insist upon an antibiotic!

Norovirus is nasty!!!  My sympathies to any and all who aren't feeling well.

Plantoid, I'm intrigued by pouring cold water over your frozen car doors. Why not hot water? (I'm guessing there is a really good reason, and I'll be glad to know the answer.)

I believe it is because the temperature shock would crack the windows.

I agree, Audrey.Jeanne, one only needs cold water because it is above freezing.
It's a bit like turning the heating up to get warm, it will not get warm any faster than setting it to the correct temperature.  Mind you, I still turn it right up and then have to turn it down because I forget and it gets too hot.  I make a great preacher. Very Happy

I received an alert Friday from the State Department of Health about increasing numbers of illness (norovirus and influenza) in pockets of the state. Yup it's that time of year.

And keep your hands out of your face. Wink

+1, Camp!

My neighbor's entire household has it (including 5 kids), I've got it, I think I gave it to Mike.  I hope he doesn't give it back....

The only bright side is that you are getting this "bug" before Christmas and New Years. Hopefully, you will all be fully recovered to enjoy the Season.

And hopefully another 'bug' won't be caught between now and then.

Yep and Yep!!!

I'm feeling a bit better.  The hot/cold spells seem to be slowing down and I'm not so nauseous.  Mike seems to be doing okay, thank goodness.

And we're staying away from the neighbors!  What a Face

First measurable snow on it's way here in Kansas! We've had some good rains here the last few days, so the kids are excited about the snow.  I need about 4-6" so I can power up the snowblower and make some extra cash!
