Looks pretty nice! I love boxes like that, the kind you can sit or kneel on.

Thanks. Now I'm going to design a drip system for them. Sure I will hand water also but we leave on vacations now that I am retired and I want the garden to water while we are gone.

It will probably be a combination of micro-soaker tube and those small adjustable "shrubbler" emitters. Just not sure yet. I've installed many drip systems and my backyard has timed valve stations ready to go so I know how to do the hardware. It's just trying to figure what to grow and their needs that boogle my mind a bit.

Each bed will have it's own timer controlled valve for more control. I like those adjustable shubblers because I can drench or trickle water from them allowing me control over an area in the bed.

So much to ponder but Im loving it.

Are these boxes made of wood?  If so, what kind of paint did you use?  They certainly look great!

I actually am going to raise these up 16 inches off the ground. That should help relieve the back plus eliminate any ground root invasion.
