Almost ready for spring

Post  johnp on 2/9/2015, 9:14 am

With the record warm the last three days I was able to refresh all my beds and restring the ones that had broken last year. Some of the beds are a little low so later this week I will mix up a batch of MM for them and for the pots for later. I found my second bed  this year with roots from a near by apple tree. It is not to bad so I will use it this year and change it to a standing bed for next season. This is the bed that has a frame around it made of PVC conduit that I am changing to a cover frame for tulle (sp). I have never used the stuff before but I guess a lot of you do. I think I can get it at a fabric store like JoAnn's or something like that. Never  been to one but always a first. Hope to protect the kale and broccoli for a change.
