Another first for me

Post  johnp on March 2nd 2015, 8:51 am

Sunday morning my wife and I were going to the grocery store and lunch. We pulled out of the garage and started out to the street when said hold it. I stopped and she said look up. There circling our property was a bald eagle. Slowly circling, not moving just incredible. Never ever seen one here, I know they sometimes show up to the east at the reservoir but never here. Quite a sight.

I've been in Ohio 36 years and I also saw my first bald eagle recently on my own street up in the trees.  Rick and I couldn't believe it, the white head and tail are so distinctive. I've only seen them in WY along the Snake River.  I went online and turns out others have spotted eagles in this area too.
