First Day in the Garden this year

Post  dk54321 on 3/7/2015, 11:35 pm

The snow has been too deep to get out to my garden. Today it warmed up enough to pack the snow down and make a trail. I shoveled the snow off my beds and put down plastic so the soil could begin to warm.

I remember my first day this I actually did something outside in the garden. It's a good feeling, isn't it, dk54321?

Still frozen though, but can at least do some cleaning up left over from last fall.

Woo-hoo!  Congratulations to you both!  (And everyone else who's been able to get out there...)

You bet! I'm hoping the plastic I put down will help the soil thaw faster.

Yay for you both! I think the plastic will warm things up for you!
