Hello from Duluth Minnesnowta, I've got my garden boxes built and itching for the temps to warm up enough to plant my seedlings!

glad you\'re here msaxton : hithere:, that's look a lovely little area when it grows up. Send us pictures as it matures.

I live in British Columbia, Canada, and I once passed through Duluth at the height of a tornado warning so I know how scary it can be. We had to take shelter in  some building. Early 1990s.

Duluth is a nice place

Post  Razed Bed on 4/25/2015, 10:43 pm

I have been to Duluth and Superior many times.  It is a lovely place, and I know your summers have very long days with ample growing opportunities.  You should be able to get some greens going now.  I grew Kale all winter here in Nashville, and we got down to almost 0 two days.  Just a little protection for when it dropped under 25, and I am sure you won't have any more lows in the teens.  Kale, Lettuce, Spinach, and others should be available for planting now.
