Hi, Dunkinjean!  I live in AZ now but I'm originally from Clifton - how's the weather in NJ?  The weather's been beautiful here in NW Arizona.

Some tomatoes are peeking out already.

Nothing beats a beautiful desert scene.  There's something about the color patterns that makes me want to be there.

It has been a long winter.
Today the weather is absolutely gorgeous, sunny and 74 degrees!
I can tell your weather is a lot warmer.
I am hoping to plant my green bush and pole beans this weekend and maybe my tomatoes and peppers.

Tinyspock,  Have you thought about how you will apply shade cover in the summer?  This is how I set up frames for the 2' x 8' bed.
Permanent "cup holders"
With tulle:
Winter plastic:

Sanderson!  Thanks for the ideas!  I really like your set-up.  I'm going to try my best to copy it in my garden!

90 degrees at 6:53 pm by you!   Phew!
