Hello from Los Angeles

Post  greg0ire on 5/6/2010, 1:09 pm

Hi All. Just bought the book for my wife (and maybe for me ) for Mother's Day so I'm not official yet. I don't have any supplies either because the book will arrive tomorrow. Thought I'd say hello first anyway.

We don't have too much space on the flat part of the backyard for the garden. Is it okay to do this on a medium graded hill or is it a no-no? I'm new at this, obviously. Thanks.

Oh, also have you all bought the materials I see on this site or built your own? Thanks again.

Check the main forum - general forum - for all that. Take a breath, relax and realize that in LA you can start one new bed a month all year long. :>

Hi greg0ire,
Welcome to the wonderful world of SFG. Got a slope in your yard? No problem. Check out this creative solution from another rookie...
