Not all bad

Other than not having any luck so far with growing anything this year other than weeds, look what I found this morning in the weeds.

That's an Oenothera pallida.  I bought that plant and I placed it in a on top of a larger pot to plant it later, but later never came.  So it grew into the larger pot and the past month has been flowering for me.  It's very cheery and I have seen sphinx moths hovering over the flowers.  It's a wild flower of the western states.  I thought I was buying a California native but it's a western state native, not native to California.  I wouldn't call it a weed.
