I will appreciate all your help.

Hi Afsariq.  Welcome from Atlanta, GA!  Glad you've joined us.

I know you can't post pictures yet, so hopefully someone else will answer soon.

Can you tell us what your specific symptoms are?  Wilted leaves?  Yellowing?

How much rain have you had?  What are the temps like right now?

These are all questions to help us help you...  Smile

 Hi AtlantaMarie,

Thank you much for your prompt reply.  It did rained a lot in past weeks and temps are in warm 90's.  my plants are not fresh anymore, leaves are yellowing and plants are not showing any signs of flourishing.
The only reason I can think of is I did not mix much of the existing soil when I added Miracle Gro garden soil in the bed where I planted these jasmines, may be I need to amend the soil, but I don't know what to mix.

Please advice!

Thanks,
Afsar

Welcome to the forum!

Did you plant them in conditions that favor them -- like, do they get enough sun, or too much? Enough water or too much?

A common problem is that plants you get from big box stores, supermarkets, and the like, can come from anywhere. It usually takes several days at a minimum for plants to acclimate to a different environment, so they need to be "hardened off" by exposing them to the outdoors and your local sun gradually. Otherwise, they can literally die in a day or become stunted.

Transplanting adds another significant stress.

So if you transplant a plant that has not yet been "hardened off," it's a double whammy and might just stunt or delay your plant's growth, increase its vulnerability to pests and disease, or even kill it.

I don't know if your plants were subject to any such stresses, but I'm trying to point to the idea that there may be a number of factors involved that we don't know about yet, and the quality of your soil might not even be involved.

I agree.  I think the thing to do is take off the really bad-looking leaves & give it some shade if you can - especially in the afternoon.

Other than that, I'd just make sure it doesn't dry out and leave it alone for a few days...

glad you\'re here afsariq  happy hi
from Kelejan :canada:

I hope your plant recovers.  Give it some time.  When you say recently, do you mean a few days, a month?
