Kitty, Welcome to the Forum from California! glad you\'re here I found this Forum by accident in February 2013, had 4 beds built and filled in March and have never looked back. The only bad thing is that it is addictive! The folks here got me through a lot of learning curves. Please post photos, we absolutely love photos of other gardens.

Welcome KittyD from NW Pennsylvania.

With some compost mixed into the area you removed your corn from, you can begin looking at fall crops. Peas, beets, turnips, carrots etc...you probably have time to grow just about anything in your location.

All the Best
Brad

Welcome KittyD!

Second the advice to page back to look at older threads. We've been so lucky at this place to have input from really smart and experienced people, so the site is a treasure chest of knowledge to unearth. People come and go, and we miss them when they go, but they often leave priceless ideas, photo journeys, links, and discoveries behind.

Don't feel intimidated to ask any question that pops into your head, and don't be shy about seeing if it matches with others things you can find in older pages. Those pages are just as good!

And check out the regional forums. As common sense will tell you, people who have grown in your area may know a lot that can save you from many mistakes!
