Going to start composting!

Post  South Face on Wed 11 Nov 2015 - 9:26

There currently is not a compost pile here. (that I know of)
I think I will buy a bin and start from there. By spring I hope to have enough to get me started. I dug out all the debris that was in the SQF. Looked like a lot of the typical tomatoes, green beans, squash (I think) and such.
I wasn't thinking about composting at the time and put it in a trash bag. (hind sight)
I will keep it in the garage so it doesn't freeze. Anybody want to ups me a start? Very Happy

Hi Southface! happy hi

If you have any woods around you, or even some hedges, you can take some earth from those to start your pile with.  Just stick it in the black bag with your debris, spritz it with water and that should get it going.
