Just beautiful!  You are going to have a LOT of tomatoes!  We plant about 10-12 plants of several types and that's enough for us two :-)

I typically sell enough to cover my community garden fee...trying another 15 or so varieties this year...concentrating on heirlooms such as Carbon and Krim as well as a hybrid I found last year, Health Kick (a roma-type with twice the lycopene as a normal tomato).

Great shots as usual, landarch. How do the pellets compare to the cells when starting? Are you noticing a difference? Hard to tell in the photo but it looks like the pellets aren't as plentiful.

Cape, I think I started old seed (packaged for 2015) in my Jiffy pellets...then I didn't want to spend the money on more pellets and started another round (new seed for 2016) in cell trays/growing mix.

Using new seed was the key...germination in every cell while the old seed in the pellets are lagging by half.  Maybe I can take the unsuccessful pellets and start something else in them however I'm about tapped out on seed starting/space in the garden plan.

I think some of the old seed will still germinate...it's just a pain when there is such a time spread in the same tray.
