Post  Eleanor Allison on 3/22/2016, 12:40 am

I am new to this forum.  I am planning to convert as much of my property to an edible garden using the square foot method.  What I cannot use I plan to share.  To start with i am looking at planting some raspberries and strawberries followed by tomatoes and herbs.

Hi Eleanore, glad you\'re here
As Mel says in the book All New Square Foot Gardening, start small.  You can always add more boxes over time.  That's what I did until I finally put the brakes on.
This gardening method is addictive...and wait til you start making compost if you aren't already!
