I found that same project elsewhere on the web.  This is the same project but gives specific measurements etc.

http://www.hertoolbelt.com/pallet-planter-box/

I am thinking strawberries.  Since I came back out of retirement for a few months to help out the company and since the company recycles wood from used pallets, I printed out the directions and will take it into my old company and ask them to build it for me.  Piece of cake for them and they already have the wood, screw guns etc.

The owner already offered to build more boxes for me because I couldn't do it this last winter cause I had to help them out.  I declined the offer but this looks like something they could do likity split.

That's exactly where it came from, Yolos.

I was thinking strawberries as well. Or maybe herbs... Decisions, decisions........

One benefit from working for a pallet company and being called out of retirement for a few months.  I showed the general manager the plans for this planter box and he built one for me and cut the wood for two more boxes for my daughter to have her class build at their school.  All it needs are the holes drilled for the plants and then some soil mix.  I have the drill and correct size hole bit so all I need now is the soil.  And then maybe plant strawberries in it.

Do you have drawings for this?  I'd love to be able to visualize how it's put together.  NICE! Very Happy

That's wonderful, Yolos! So, I'm assuming they're heat-treated pallets then...

Can't WAIT to see how it looks filled & blooming..........!!
