pop ups

Post  has55 on 5/6/2016, 10:47 pm

Occasionally, I'm getting pop up that take me too another window and display a message that I need to update my adobe flask player. It only occurs on this website, usually when I scroll down rapidly. I'm on a Mac. Anyone having this problem?

I've seen it, but not when visiting here. Some of the sites people share on Facebook are suspicious. Some types of malware get picked up in one place and waits for a period of time before activating, making it difficult to guess which site it came from.

I was told to update my flash player a while back, and I updated it. It was current! It turned out to be a type of virus trying to get control of my computer. I was told I didn't need it, so I just deleted it. I sure did not need it on this site. There are a 'very few' videos that I haven't been able to view.
