I've been looking around on the home page or dashboard of the forum and don't see anywhere to view notifications of new posts to topics you are watching or new comments and replies to a topic you started.  Are the emails received the only way to be notified of new comments to topics you are engaged in?  If that is the case, I'm not sure if we can make feature requests, but if we can, I think it'd be great if there was a little button or link on the home page when you first login to the forum that shows "Alerts" or "Updates" and takes you to a page listing links to all the latest comments on topics you are engaged in since you last logged in.

Most of that kind of information is user/member directed. For example, if you look at the bottom right of this page you will see a place to follow this thread.
In your member preferences, which you may access from the home page, click on profile, thumb through the tabs, make adjustments to your settings and profile. Thanks for the feature request, but if you want to see the latest topics, the list is over there <~~~~ on the left. Or you can scroll through the home page and see the latest posts in each sub forum. At the bottom of the home page, you can even find posts that have not yet had any answers.

In total there are 149 members online :: 12 Registered, 1 Hidden and 136 Guests :: 2 Bots

It is interesting looking at these statistics.  It seems that most of our posts are read by people who are guests.  So when you comment it is spread far wider than you can imagine.  I expect many people do a form of SFG without commenting, but that is OK, IMO.

If every guest commented, we would never get any gardening done as we would be too busy reading about it.

Like now. Very Happy

Thanks Country! That "Your Posts" link is what I was missing. While not exactly what I'm used to, it essentially serves much the same purpose of what I was looking for.

The "your posts" link is pretty kewl, too. It's not just for posts you created, but also any others where you've participated. That way if a thread falls off that you've you've posted on, you can find it again, quickly.  Cool
