Chicken Spa

Post  countrynaturals on 6/6/2016, 2:26 pm

Our backyard now has a chicken spa. On the left is a bed of cat grass (we have no lawn, and now my garden is fenced in, so they don't get much green stuff). In the middle is a grape plant. The chickens like to take dust baths in it. On the right is compost. They do an excellent job of keeping it stirred up. Now that we have water down to this area, the sprinkler also brings up nice juicy snack bugs.

Lucky Chickens.  Much better than being in a battery cage.
