Seeds for Indoor Winter Garden?

Post  countrynaturals on 6/23/2016, 4:59 pm

I'm starting to think about what to plant for my indoor winter veggie garden. I found this:

Bush Varieties

They're in Chico, CA -- practically right next door to me. Very Happy Shipping is FREE! Anybody want to go in with me to swap out and try some different stuff? Anybody try any of these or have seeds to swap for any other "bush" varieties?

Embarassed Question? When you ANSFGers garden in containers in the house, do you use MM?

CN, This isn't an answer to your indoor gardening question, but don't forget that you should be able to winter garden in the salad bar. Swiss chard, kale, snow peas, garlic and onions. Also, New Zealand spinach if you get it started now.

NUTZ! My seed company is out of stock on NZ spinach. Didn't you say you have some to swap? (Yes, my salad bar will stay open for business all winter.) Cool

CN, I'd love to see pictures of your indoor set up when you get it established.

If anyone else would care to share photos of indoor seed starting or growing conditions for more mature plants, that would be great, too.

Ginger, there are a TON of posts about seed starting here! Just go to the search box in the upper left hand corner and type your target; lights, starting, seeds, etc. lots of threads on your topic!

Me? I post on the regional thread for N&C Midwest, so you might want to check out your region! They may have some specific info for your locale.
