harvest

Post  landarch on 7/31/2016, 7:29 pm

picked some gorgeous carrots and a few eggplant...walked them and some green peppers, tomatoes, and green beans down to the neighbors today (he's from northern India - vegetarian - and he promised to cook up some good grub an invite us down for dinner.

Also made a couple gallons of home made pico de gallo (tomato, onion, green pepper, garlic all from the garden), canned a bit of tomato juice, froze a gallon of Health Kick tomatoes, and processed some dill pickles...first year trying "sandwich stacker" style pickles.
