For those who have a Vitamix blender here is a fast way to make and heat up marinara sauce in the blender in about 6 minutes.

I'm making another batch of this deliciousness. My family loves the crockpot marinara plus I have tons of Toms right now.

Would this be good with green tomatoes?  I've never seen green marinara sauce, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be interesting to try.  thinking

Thoughts?

Are they green tomatoes, or GWR (green when ripe) tomatoes?  Might need some tomato paste and some sugar, but it would definitely be worth trying, in my opinion!  In February, some of that sunshine will taste heavenly!  A little pesto, parmy, GO for it!
