Admin back! Classic cars

Post  sanderson on 9/26/2016, 12:47 pm

I've been scarce this long weekend with 50th reunion activities.  Some folks were easy to recognize and others, well, it's embarrassing to not remember someone.  Thank goodness we all had that problem to some degree.

One of the activities was a classic car show Sat afternoon, the one event I didn't attend.  However, on Sunday, some of the guys and wives drove a few to the school ground.  We had a guided tour of the expanded campus and found out they no longer offer auto shop!!  (No home ec, sewing, wood shop either!!)

Very cool sanderson.

This is a link to the website of the hotrod shop owned and run by my daughter and son-in-law.

I miss running boards on trucks.  Some have steps but most do not as far as my experience  goes.

My first car was a 1935 Austin Seven and my second car was a 1937 Ford. I passed my driving test on the Austin and I still remember the number plate BOK 46.

There was a Classic Car exhibition at our Fall Fair. There were about 30 cars there and the sunshine did them proud.
