Free Veggie Guide from Burpee

Post  bonnie0128 on Thu 13 May - 12:35

Don't know what this will contain or if it'll be useful, but I came across this free offer from Burpee and thought I'd share. I like getting freebies in the mail!

From the site:

FREE Vegetable Garden Guide

If there's any rule of vegetable gardening (and there isn't, so relax), it's that it's more fun to grow things you and your family enjoy eating. So, to help you on your vegetable-growing journey, Burpee Home Gardens presents "Garden Fresh" – an insightful yet fun vegetable gardening guide that answers your questions on everything from what to grow, to how much and when. This companion offers ideas, inspirations, and the support you need to explore – and succeed at – the world of home vegetable gardening

I've got mine ordered. Kinda nice that the gardening centers still makes catalogues and printed guides.

The Southern Exposure Seed Exchange catalog has great resources for when to plant as well. They're out of their 2010 catalog right now, but you can get on the list for next year!

I just ordered one. Of course, that also means our mailing addresses will probably be sold to other garden companies and we'll get mailers from many others as well. But I enjoy looking through planting catalogues.
