Hello everyone, the above post actually goes under jimmie cee thread about the soil food web. I'm putting videos snippet together about the microbes and plants that is address in Jeff's Book. I was avoiding having it in two places to prevent confusion. If you want them in my research and development thread I'm ok with it. But jimmie cee is the one that brought us this great info. I just need permission to move away from his thread. if that ok I will rearrange it here. My thread is everything. his thread is related to teaming with microbes that jeff, wayne and Elaine brought to the community.

I've done it a lot cheaper than that. I bought a Digital Thermometer for about $2 on Ebay. To use it I poked a rod or stick into the compost, pulled it out and then used it to push the sensor of the thermometer down into the compost. Better still I put the the thermometer in place and just left it there. In fact at one time I had several of these digital thermometers with their sensors positioned at different places in the compost. Worked great.
