Hello from Pottstown, PA

Post  wyppers on 2/25/2017, 12:10 pm

Hi everyone!

I am from New York state but have lived in FL, CO, NH, and now PA. I do not have a ton of space in which to plant, however I grow enough to sustain my husband, dog, and I with food throughout the fall and winter. I hope to learn a lot more about Square Foot gardening and help to pass on ideas to others in my community.

Welcome to the forum!
I'm in Pennsylvania also - Port Matilda (near State College.) It looks like your winters are usually a little warmer than mine, and your growing season is a little longer (earlier last frost, later first frost.) Tell us more about what you grow. Have you started anything inside yet? I've got onion, leek and celeriac seedlings under grow-lights.
We love photos.. but it's still winter so... Smile

Hello Pottstown!

Post  GardenLikeMad on 2/25/2017, 11:12 pm

I just moved from PA! I lived in Washington Crossing.  Now I am in VA.  SF gardening is fun!  Good luck with it!
